Advice needed before I uninstall/reinstall WLM

I've been having problems with WLM and as a first step I will uninstall/reinstall the program. The two email programs that I have attached to it are gmail and hotmail. I decided to do screen captures of the setup for each of these accounts but can't find the settings in WLM. I presume they reside with google and MSFT.

What do I need to do to to assure that I can get back to where I am after the uninstall/reinstall. I'm working at the edge of my knowledge here and don't want to lose my email. I have downloaded my contacts to a CSV file. Are there some settings that I need to copy before I uninstall?

Thanks. I'm using Wlm 2012. Is that the latest? That's one reason for uninstalling what I have.

After I get a good installation I plan to cleanup my contacts.

Most importantly, I hope to sync my iPad and two iPhones to my email and calendars.

These are he reasons that I want a good foundation.

The fix program option just might alert you to a newer version... ?
I seem to remember using photo gallery it did :/
