How can I uninstall & reinstall Facebook?

How do you uninstall & reinstall Facebook on Windows 7? Both columns on either side of my FB page are missing and logging in & out or refreshing doesn't help. I thought uninstalling & reinstalling would help. Their support wouldn't contact me.
