Well, hello guys.
I am planning to buy a new laptop. I will buy it in Miami.
I would like a laptop with non glossy screen 15"-16" Primary task I will be performing is searching the web. No games.
I would like Core i3 processor. SSD would be nice but then again it will be too expensive. If not SSD I would want HDD 7200 rpm.
RAM 2GB would be OK
I don't mind Windows 7 home premium. I will be most of the time at home with my laptop so 4 hours of battery life will do.
Optical drive, no need of blu-ray drive. Webcam not necessary.
I have been searching for a couple of weeks now and Dell is the only brand I could find with non glossy screen.
At Tiger Direct they don't sell Dell laptop. I wonder if Best Buy does.
But if one of you guys knows a retail store in Miami please let me know. I will be staying closed to Miam Intl. Airport.
If one of you guys could recommend a good and reliable brand of laptop I would appreciate it.
Will I need to buy an external HDD for my backups or is there a possibility of two internal HDD's???
I also consider a refurbished laptop. Is it a good or a bad idea??

Costco sells Dell laptops.

They have a store about 8 miles south of the airport. There may be a store even closer.

Best Buy sells Dell laptops. They would have many stores around Miami.
