Good day to all,Looking for some advice I am.
Regarding saving items,Such as.When we have a problem we always go to Google to try and find the soution sometimes the answer is there.
What I'm looking at what is the best easiest way of saving these links somewhere on the computer for safe keeping and mark them with the specified heading. Then if a similar problem occurs later on or maybe someone has the problem well save searching Google again,I can just go and find the link that was saved previously.
Any easy thoughts on that for me please?.(d)

Thanks in advance,And wishing all here a very Merry Xmas.

Well everyone has different ideas. But if you have the space i would setup a new partition and save them in there under headings of the problem. Like a folder for BSOD/ RAM etc. That way they are apart from all your files and programs etc.

How about starting a new folder in Bookmarks and just save the links to the sites. Though by storing any of this info you run the risk of missing a more up to date solution to the problem. I really think it is best to re "Google" items. That way you get more than one opinion! Just a thought! So quick to Google that you would probably spend more time trying to find the answer in your new system than Google it again anyway!

Creating a folder within Favorites, assuming you are using Internet Explorer, is what I do.

Since these are stored in C:\User\*your user name*\Favorites, you can copy your folder to any location for backup.
