All 3rd party testing I've seen in the past 2 years it is at the very bottom or very close to it.

Don't 'Comodo' do 'PrivDog' for free which essentially does the same thing, used along with their Internet Security Suite ( or as a stand alone browser plug in) will offer better all round protection ?

This is my personal opinion based on experience. I suspect nearly anything is better than what MS offers, however I also believe a paid-for security suite is the best option. Many free AVs and Firewalls are good but a complete suite can't be beat, I don't think.
