Hello, I've got a problem with my PC, let me get it from the beggining.
A week ago I built a new pc, all new except hard drive.
When i formatted, i went throught all these drivers instalation etc, i knew how to do it, wasnt 1st time doing it, it was easy etc..until the time i first shut down my pc, drivers was disabled while catalyst was reading them as enabled, everytime i shut down my pc the same happens but not if i open it and then restart.
I tried a lot but last think i thought that since my hard drive is kinda old..(6years) it may be this the issue, bought a new one. Now drivers are working..even tho i got this new issue, Windows Aero(glass taskbar etc) get disabled, ive tried a billion things but nothing helped me so far, even net start/stop command enables aero for 2sec and goes back offline or it doesnt enable aero at all. The only solution ive found so far is to open my pc and then hit a restart, but this is kinda disturbing..
Ask whatever you want, Thanks in advance.

Try a Clean Reinstall Windows 7. This time stick with the steps for how drivers are best handled in Win7 which are printed in red so you don't miss them.

If the problem with Aero returns then run the Aero Troubleshooter. Type Aero in Start search box to access it, report back what it finds.

I have already done all these steps but still nothing...Also i tried stopping and starting again desktop windows session from services still doesnt work!

Are you running all of the drivers provided for your card here? SAPPHIRE HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB GDDR5

I would want to compare that with running with only the driver Win7 provides after a clean install.

Do you have another card to try? Is there an onboard graphics chip on mobo?

I formatted once again, atm im at 80% of windows update and later im gonna install 14.9 driver from official amd site as i alway do..-.-
mobo doesnt have onboard gpu ive tried to run drivers with driver booster too btw

Why would you do a Clean Reinstall Windows 7 and not wait to see what drivers Win7 wants, instead of forcing drivers which may account for the problems you're experiencing?

Stick with the steps in the tutorial including the steps about drivers in red, as these have worked for over a million users without a single complaint. They work as well for retail as for factory OEM installs.

I did it because ive got 2 hard drives..i tested it on the second one, nothing changed...-.- i still believe its AMD's drivers issue.. :/
