Aero Not Working

Hi all, I have the 64bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium and Aero shut down and I can't get it to re-start. I have tried troubleshooting but that hasn't worked. I have tried activating an Aero theme but nothing happens.

Hello RedChampion, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Double check each item below to see if that may be able to help.

• The computer display color depth must be set to 32 bits per pixel.
• Desktop composition needs to be enabled (checked) in Visual Effects.
• The Desktop Window Manager Session Manager and Themes Services need to be set as Started and Automatic.
• Refresh or update your WEI score. You will need an WEI score minimum of 2.0 in both Graphics & Gaming graphics in order for Aero to be activated.
• Windows 7 will need to be activated.
