Aero Peak Issue - Office 2007

Hi!

I believe this is a performance issue. I just moved to Windows 7 from Vista. Occassionally, the Office 2007 applications will not show a preview using Aero Peak. (This happened in Vista but of course without Aero Peek).

The issue seems intermittent and doesn't affect all open Office applications -- just usually Excel or Outlook. Here's a picture of what I mean. (Note: This is an image I found online that I'm pasting here to save me the trouble of a screen shot)

Welcome to Seven Forums.

I have this with Excel, the taskbar thumbs don't show the file just an icon. Unfortunately I haven't found a cure. Hopefully a fix will come.

same issue here. It works fine with one file open, but 2 or more messes it up

I got it to work, but created a worse problem. I went into Excel, which is my most used program, and opened up the Excel Options (click the Office "orb" and find Excel Options at the bottom of that box). I went to Advanced and looked under the Display section. Then I unchecked the box entitled "show all windows in the Taskbar."

As expected, I can see only the file I'm working on and can't get to any other files unless I use CTRL + Tab to switch between them, BUT I can now see, in the Taskbar, what I'm currently working on.

I wish it would just work the way we all expect it to. You'd think that Microsoft would have an update to address this.
