hi there

i have some issues here
i had alot of black outs that killed my old PSU and GPU (which was Geforce 295 gtx from Gigabyte)

i replace them with Geforce 295 GTX from XFX and AcBel R88 1100W

after that i notice that the win7's AERO turn off often (which never happened to me before with this build since i had it.. and i had it for 2 years allready...)

i thought to myself that it probably issue with my OS and because i planed to format anyway i thought that i have nothing to worry.
then i reinstall Mass Effect 2 to finish its DLCs before 3 will come out and saw that the game crash for me with TDRs and black screens, i played ME2 two years ago with that pc and had no issues at all....
i tried to change my driver (which was the 295.51 beta) to other old drivers, i tested the 260.99 which usually was stable for my older 295 gtx card and the issue still was there.... i tried 3 more drivers and still no luck...

then i formatted and notice that the pc working a bit slower at some parts, and after each 20 mins my Aero was turning off again before i install any drivers, it never happened to me in this pc with my old GPU and PSU and i formatted it really alot. after that i installed the 260.99 driver again for a test and let win7 to test my system points and in the middle of the test my driver crash and when i tried it again i got black screens and had to forcely turn off my pc! after that i fully delete the 260.99 and installed the 295.51 beta again..., the sudden aero issues stops and win7 test my hardware without TDR or BOSD, But again when i play different games i get ton of TDRs! i never get such number with my old 295 gtx, what do you think it is guys? maybe it my CPU? :o

does Gigabye was way better then XFX? we talking here about the total same cards... it just other brand...

help

Thanks for the replay :). However I 100% sure that it hardware issue and not driver issue, I never OC my system and I not plan to do it too. By BSOD I meant to black screens and not blue... does it count? :o, it happened mostly because of the video driver , I think that it hint that the driver is not getting along with this video card..

Btw my pc is reformatted again atm and I don't have either the log anymore and still not install any program on it so i don't think that I can send the file atm..

Removed by me as you appear to NOT be having BSOD's.
My responses therefore irrelevant.

With luck someone else will assist you.

{I noted you had also edited your Post 1 aft

hi there, sorry for reply so late, i took my time and reinstalled all my stuff so it took me some time...
i think that i will send my GPU to the store and ask for other card (if it possible)

i done some research and found that the issue of my BSOD at startup can be caused by some WIN7 update...

KB2607576 if i don't mistake...however it far too late for me to just restore the system to the time before it was installed... =[
so i was wondering... can i just delete it? it not going to make my system unstable or something of sort? also do you know more other "problematics" updates that MC released? i had some experince with annoying ones.. however they all usually was fine when i reinstalled them each time after i formatted my pc so i have no idea what can cause it...

Yup =] (allready send my gpu)
but if the issue is relate to some MC update then even the warranty can't help it xD i need to know the update that give me the issues.

i guess that it was my GPU fault when it come to the TDRs , but the black screens on startup start to occur after i installed WIN7 updates.... i think that KB2607576 is the one to blame... but i don't sure, win7 have alot of updates after all xD

thanks

my issue was: after i formatted and startup the login screen, the entire screen will goes black or enter my monitor to power save mode for 1 sec , then i can see the cursor and there is a startup sound but all the desktop was black for some secs,
however after i installed some stuff the black desktop issue was solved but the "enter power save mode" is still there and happen randomly, i also notice this issue before i formatted my pc when i thought that i should try the updates that i ignored so far because i read that they gave hard time to some users, after i tried some updates i saw that my screen goes black on startup, but i thought that if i will install it after formate all will be fine.. now i see that it not... i need to fine that update that start this issue... but aside from KB2607576 i don't remeber the others =[

as for the pc run really slow issue and random TDRs and BSOD i believe that it was my GPU, now that i happened to test other GPU i 90% sure that it was the old GPU so one problem hopefully has been solved, through some users said that update KB2607576 made their pc slower, high their hardware temp, and done other annyoing stuff, so it may be realte to my issue as well

yup but these BSOD comes from the nvidia driver, the other black screens come for 1 sec after i start up my pc and then gone (and it happened randomly).

today i delete this update after i notice that my ram that usually was on 37% when i don't use it gone to 45-50% without any reason, after i delete this update the power saving mode issue come back.. only for once though, then i notice that my ram turn back to 37% and after another restart my ram stock in 40-+ %.... i really don't know what going on... my pc was just formatted =(

it must be either hardware issue or software issue (MC updates)

any chance that you know how i can detect the cause for it?

like to test if it hardware issue?

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.
