So I reformatted to windows 7 and when I try to enable aero I get a error.

The current video card driver isn't compatible with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM).

Can someone help me please?

If you were using Windows 7 before and everything worked properly. I would check the graphics card and driver. You can go to device manager (put those word in search) and look for any yellow warning markers. In addition, go to the web site of the card mfg and look for updated driver or firmware.

How much ram do you have?

Also might help to fill in your System Specs. It could be that your Video card may not support Aero.
