(First Post) I have recently bought a fan controller 'coz I'm sad and when I see something that looks cool I have to buy it, whether I have need of it or not lol. Now here's the problem, I installed it after a few failed attempts and my system keeps saying system fan failure or something along those lines, but the fans working and the controller is letting me higher and lower the Rpm . And it's also had an adverse affect on my other Hardware i.e. Printer, Wireless USB Adapter, Webcam etc. Has anybody got one of these contraptions and had the same problems and does anybody have a solution that doesn't involve throwing it in the bin or re-installin' the Os from scratch?

Thanks in advance :D

We'd need to know exactly how you have connected the fans to the unit and the motherboard. Did you disconnect the CPU fan from the mobo and connect it to the fan controller?

I connected it the way it told me 2 lol I didn't unplug the Heatsink, I just plugged the case fan into the fan wire for the device and plugged the power wire off the device wire into the Motherboard. I followed the intructions to the T which I wouldn't normally do. And it's just upset my system :(

Below is the review and shows the wires etc that comes with the device.

OK, you didn't plug the CPU fan to this thing - just checking :D.

OK, when you say you plugged the device wire, I'm assuming you mean the power connector for the Aerocool unit which is a big 4-pin molex like for typical harddrive, unlike the small 4-pin . When you say you plugged it to the motherboard, do you actually mean a connector on the motherboard itself, or a power supply connector like you would connect the power for a harddrive?

I forgot to ask, what else besides the fan did you connect, especially to the motherboard?
