Hello,
I'm having trouble with my AFT Pro-57U card reader. In Windows Explorer the removable media slots on the card reader keep showing up and disappearing. So I get something like "removable disk (E: )" (along with removable disks F: - J: ) flashing in the left pane of a Windows Explorer window underneath the "Computer" heading. I have tried "Hide empty drives in the Computer folder", in the organize menu. Checking that box, or leaving it unchecked, seems to have no baring on whether or not the removable disks disappear and reappear. The have also been known to appear and disappear in Disk Management. The flashing seems to have no bearing on performance. The card reader has never had trouble reading any of the media it claims to accept, even while the removable disks flash.
Bad USB 3.0 port on my Motherboard?
