After Format Programs

Hello everyone. I'm about to format my pc since i get BSODs and i would like this time to keep it as stable and clean as possible. So i want to ask you what programs to use that won't cause any problem with my pc and are fully compatible with my Windows version.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64. The specs of my pc can be found in my profile. Also, the pc is mostly used for gaming.

Here is the list of programs i need(free or not, i don't care, i just need the best if possible):

1) Protection (Antivirus, Firewall, etc.).

2) Maintenance (To clean my pc and keep it stable).

3) CD/DVD Burning (That can burn image files).

4) Virtual Drive (That can use .mds/.mdf files).

5) Drivers (A program to see the drivers in my system, to see details, in which software/hardware they belong, if they are outdated etc.).

6) Any other software/tool you think it's a must or you want to suggest.

Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes used in conjuction with the Winows Firewall and of course common sense

Those that depend on software to do the job, very often return, here with problems

CCleaner (free version can be used as part of your maintenance). Must be set up properly for best outcome. I can help with that as it is very easy.

Those that use the Driver programs, often report that it is not as expected
In a cmd prompt, type driverquery. You can see all your drivers and the dates. Anything older than 7/09 is considered old. I think that you can get some of that information, also, from autoruns. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx

What about BitDefender 2010? It's one of the top security programs.

Bit is not needed. Just common sense. MSE, Malwarebyes and Windows Firewall, as I stated above. All this other stuff is just going to hurt performance.

i use a website to install most the programs i want , choose the programs and d/l the installer and run and does it all for you the site is Ninite - Install or Update Multiple Apps at Once
