Solved After installation, Windows 7 has 34.9 gb used disk space.

Hello.

Im sorry for my bad english.

I installed windows 7 x64 ultimate sp1 and check disk space. I see these values :

Total space: 931 gb
Used space: 34.9 gb
free space: 896 gb

I dont install for now motherboard drives and third party programs. My disk is new and first use of it.

My system is:

4790k, asus z97-k, 2x 8gb gskill ddr3 1600mhz, evga 750 gq. WD 1tb sata 3.0 700rpm 64mb. My disk is never used and ı used it first. I installed windows 7 via win7 usb dvd download tool.
I dont have any graphic card on the system for now.

If you're asking about the amount of space on the hard drive, it looks reasonable to me. I don't see a problem.

Windows 7 occupying too much space. Is 34.9 gb used space normal after installation? I think it is not normal.

Hi, this amount is normal for just the operating system.
My system fully loaded is 41.7 gb.
I store nothing on my OS drive, my OS drive is only used to run Windows and installed software.

Hi.

Disabled hibernation and saved 9 GB disk space. When hibernate is enabled used space 34.9 gb and it is disabled used space is 25.9 gb. I will turn off virtual disk memory on my win7, later.
