After Live Mail 2011 Update Mail is Missing

I recently updated to the 2011 version of Live Mail and now I am missing a large number of emails from most of my storage folders! I need them back!! Would they have been removed & archived during the update? Any ideas would be helpful.

In the left panel. Expand tree fully, I think they are there.

I did make sure the tree in the left was expanded - I thought perhaps it had created another folder I was missing. I did however finally find out what was going on. Many of the emails I file have identical subject lines. Conversations had been enabled - which I was not aware of - so of course, it collapsed all the messages into one line! Therefore, I thought messages were missing.
