I am working on a friends laptop that was infested with dozens of Trojans(27 to be precise). Up to now I have formatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows. I then proceeded to start to install preferred browsers, antivirus, etc. when I realized I couldn't get online. So I tried to install PROWinx64.exe, but I then received an error saying: "cannot install drivers. no intel(R) adapters are present in this computer " so now I am clueless. I have attached a DxDiag.txt and I have ran msinfo32 and in problem drivers there is Ethernet, Network and PCI Simple Communications Controller.

Ok, great news. I have been able to install two of the three drivers and now I can get online. The ones I have been able to install are Wireless LAN Broadcom and Lan Broadcom. Which driver would I need for the PCI Simple Communications Controller? Unless it is called something else I can't see it on the driver list at this link: Download Center ( ALL Products )

Select by model > Notebook > E series > E732 > Windows & 64bit

Hi,
I would personally use the SNID code search not by model
I would guess that the VGA driver would deal with pci slots but it has 2 one for Intel and one for amd this is where the snid will narrow the driver lists down to your exact computer.
