after sleep computer wont wake

I been having this trouble for some time and I been looking and looking with no success for the cure!
I have win 7 X64 but and when I put my computer to sleep and I wanna wake up the computer, the screen will go black and the HD light will constantly stay on and I cant wake up the computer. so what I have to do is reset the MB by removing the battery then it will start. so I know its the MB, what settings do I have to look for to fix this?
I dont have that problem on my other computers not even my pent4 computer!

Are there any messages in your event viewer?

Are you running the most current Video Drivers for your card?

wow never looked in my event viewer! I got tons LOL dunno where to look or start. also I forgot to mention this happens in vista and windows seven

Expand Windows Logs and select System on the left panel. Look for frequent errors, or errors around the time you try to wake the PC.

I have a feeling this is caused by the video card driver... but anyways....report what you find.
