After Update My Computer Got A Black Screen! With No Image!!

My computer got updated and my desktop screen went black and also when i try to open a image there is no picture even in the themes. The below toolbar has gone to classic mode and i cannot see gadgets too only the folders of gadgets and theme opens and options are there but with no picture.

For now i have made the screen light blue with Window color, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.
and also one more problem,one day i tried to open a song in vlc and i clicked "open with" and opened (ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED "OPEN ALL PORGRAMS WITH THIS PROGRAM") it but all the other programs started to open with it. When i install vlc all other programs open with it but when i uninstall it, all programs open alright.
all programs are with .lnk file(vlc) but are used to be .exe files
One thing more i cannot download .zip files or folder.eg.-77.zip file(or something like that)
PLEASE HELP ME ON THESE PROBLEM I AM SUFFERING A LOT OF THIS

Oh dear
I suspect that in that case your best bet is a Repair Install using SP1 Media.
