Hi all,

I have a quandary. Monday morning I was using my PC as per usual and updated iTunes and icloud - darn apple and their updates. restarted the PC and when it came back to the login screen my mouse no longer physically lit up nor would the cursor move. Luckily I was heading to work so I shut the PC down and went my merry way.

After a good ten hours I got home, turned the PC on, fully expecting the problem to be resolved. Sadly, it wasn't. I can not make the cursor move on the login screen.

It's now Wednesday afternoon, I've tried a wired mouse, two wireless mice, a wired keyboard and a wireless keyboard, I can get to the bios commands but F8 doesn't give me any repair option, it just loads to the windows login screen wherein I can't do anything else.

I've been scrolling google for similar issues, a lot of people refer to system restore but isn't that only available once you are in windows?

If anyone has any advice I would love to hear from you, I am stumped.
