After waking computer up, everything disappears sometimes

Hello,
Occasionally, after I wake up my computer from Sleep, it has a problem. All the icons, windows, and taskbar are gone. The wallpaper and my mouse pointer show up, but nothing else. I can right click just fine. If I press Ctrl+alt+Del, the screen goes black and only my mouse is there. What's the solultion?
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Intel Core i5-3570k Ivy Bridge
EVGA GeForce GTX 570
Corsair 8 GB 1600 Mhz Vengeance Dual Channel DDR3 RAM.
Custom-built PC.

You might want to wait until you sort out the BSOD issue.

If you want to try some things:
Replace your wallpaper with a solid color just as a test.

If the problem still happens, remove the video drivers, restart and re-install them.

If the problem still happens, remove the video drivers, restart and re-install an older version.

If using a solid color fixes the issue, change the image to a jpg (if it is bmp).
