How do I stop WMP from collecting album art? I don't want it. I don't want anything but music files in my music folder. My only concession is the playlist folder.

IF you simply do not want media player online, go to options and uncheck everything in network and privacy tab.

I have no check marks at all under Library optioins, and I don't run a firewall. I let my router run interference.
