Similar to Valium... hmmm... let me see, that would actually make it a Benzo-Diazipate, and those are rather highly addictive tranquilizers... prime examples being diazepam, rohypnol, flunitrazepam, etc...

If this is really what they claim it to be.....all the benefits of alcohol with none of the negatives.....it almost seems to good to be true, doesn't it? Especially the part about it not leading to addiction.

Actually the more I think about this the bigger disaster it seems to be.
As someone has already pointed out if it's related to the Benzodiazepine family it's bound to be addictive.
Even if they've worked out a way of stopping physical dependency-defined as you need more to get off each time-it will still be psychologically addictive.
Imagine a drunken/drugged state you could just end by taking an antidote.
A lot of people would see that as a win/win situation and remain intoxicated all the time, every day or every night. People would ring in sick and take a few drunk pills etc.
Perhaps the drawbacks of most drugs are what keep the majority of us moderate in our time spent "out of our heads".
The thought of an intoxicant with absolutely no drawbacks is frightening.
We'd be back in the stone age in a few generations:shock:
