You should never have converted to dynamic disks. They should be avoided in nearly all cases.

You need to convert back to basic disks. Back up your data first.

I would use option 4 from the link below.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/26829-convert-dynamic-disk-basic-disk.html

You can also use Partition Wizard to extend C. You will first have to shrink the D drive and then expand C into the space you saved by shrinking D.

But get rid of the dynamic disks first.

Dynamic disks are only meant to span a partition across multiple HD's.

To convert HD back to Basic non-destructively use free Partition Wizard bootable CD.

However this feature is no longer free after version 4.2, so download v.4.2 here to burn to CD using Windows Image burner: pw422.zip ISO - Windows Live. You need the disk for possible rescue purposes.

Boot PW CD, click on Disk # to highlight HD needing conversion, then from Disk tab select Convert Dynamic to Basic Disk, click OK, Apply step. How to convert dynamic disk to basic disk with Partition Wizard?
