I'm looking at a dell inspriron 2205. im not sure how to troubleshoot this. common desktops and laptops no problem. this one, there is no picture of any kind. it sounds like any other computer when turning on, sounds, hard drive spins up, sounds normal. there is just a blank screen. no light of any kind, no backlight, nothing. I was told it fell on the floor from a stand. the connections I can see under the back cover seem secure, no sign of damage. I have not took apart the whole internals to the lcd as this is quite a job. while confident in doing that, I have to do it without have some ideas what this could be or things to check.

The All in one's are basically a Laptop PC with a larger monitor screen. As it fell on the floor I would suspect damage to the LCD monitor, however you can take it apart and check for any connection. If it has a connector for an external monitor you can test the hardware with that and an external monitor.
