all of my files that are exe have the wrong target

So I was trying to get madden 2022 to work on my new PC. I watched some youtube video, and followed the instructions. It ended up screwing everything up. I can't even use the internet on it. I cant get system restore, repair/refresh, or command prompt either. I'v tried the safe mode starts and repair, nothing works. This youtube video I followed ended up with all my exe files with a; target type: "%1%" Please help!

Welcome to the forum. We need to know what you have done to cause it so we can fix it.
At a guess you have changed association of exe files we have a fix for that Restore Default File Type Associations in Windows 10 | Tutorials

I'm trying but doesnt seem to work. Is there a way I can get rid of the suspect target? It wont let me change that in settings.

also in file explorer all the file types say "%1%"
