How do I get rid of the Desktop icon when I ALT+TAB ?? It annoys me :S

Especially when I only have two windows/programs open and I ALT+TAB to switch.. the Desktop one just lays there!

If I want the desktop i will use Windows + D

Hope someone out there knows the answer!
Thanks!

Not sure if thats even possible.
Windows + TAB might be a bit better, but it still shows the desktop. And it looks cooler anyway.

Hi,

Not sure if you can do this but there are alternatives, one is VistaSwitcher - Speed Up Windows Alt-Tab | Most Elegant And Powerful Task Switcher - NTWind Software ignore the name it seems this will work on windows 7 aswell.

Or

You can switch back to the basic window XP alt+tab menu by adding a DWORD in registry.

Create a DWORD called "AltTabSettings" in \HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer and set it to 1

Hmm I have Win 7 Pro...
