Alternate email address

In setting up Windows Mail there is an option to use an alternate (or additional) email address. I elected to use my long-time charter.net email address so I could get both my new and old email to the same account. The charter.net addy will route to a "charter.net" folder to keep things seperate. The operation went smooth-the port # and the incoming mail server info was accepted , no problem. I just cant seem to get any mail to my new folder. I know the emails are sent properly. Any ideas ?

Don't use Live Mail but I would assume it is the same as in Outlook or Thunderbird, you have to set up message rules to route the incoming mail to the correct folder.

Its really easy to set up multiple accounts. Go to WLM tools>accounts>Add and enter the server etc. Let me know if you need more help. I have 8 seperate accounts including an smtp (gmail) and (yahoo) 5 POP accounts and an Imap account. they all work

Thanks so much for all your help ! I finally figured it our through sheer force of will ! It was pretty easy once I got through it ! I may end up with 3 or 4 email addresses now that I see how easy it was ! Thanks again,

guess if i had a gmail and roadrunner and yahoo email account i could do the same but i will need all the info plus the server info?????so i will first need a hotmail account and then add the other three address's? how do i get to see my calender from outlook 2007 and google ? how do i find and sync my task and memos from outlook also with my windows seven software? again thanks for all the usefu info
