I use MS SyncToy which has worked fine but I want to sync one file only. Synctoy makes you jump through hoops to sync one file.

Any suggestions?

Using it between XP and Win7.

I find setting up folder pairs to be rather minimal configuration. Every sync program requires some configuration.

I find SyncToy configuration easy and simple.

Oh yes, failed to mention: You might want to look into SkyDrive. You might prefer a SkyDrive approach better. Just google SkyDrive. You will need to set up a Windows Live account, but you probably already have one from using some other Windows/Microsoft feature.

I was trying to get a one click solution to sync laptop & desktop on my network. I do that for my Outlook but can't get Synctoy to do the job. I can always copy and paste.

I do use Dropbox but it's more steps than I want.

Thanks for the post.
