Always show onscreen keyboard?

Hi,

I am looking at setting up WMC on my system for a touch screen jukebox. As such there wont be a keyboard attached and when you go to search I was hoping that there would be a way to simply always show the onscreen keyboard without having to press twice inside the search box as many of the people using it won't know they have to do that and I don't want to have to continually explain it.

Cheers

Hi Dannymh...This may sound like a simply answer but why not just put a shortcut to the "On Screen Keyboard" program (osk.exe) into the "Startup" folder for "ALL Users"...that way it starts up who ever logs in. The "All Users" folder can be found in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion. However that is the Windows onscreen keyboard. The one I am referring to is the MCE onscreen keyboard that you get if you double click in the search field inside MCE music Centre.

All good mate. it looks like I need to find a middle ground somewhere. I really like what MCE has to offer but it wont suit my needs, I need to just play around until I find one that does (Or upgrade my jukebox computer to allow a more powerful application)
