Am I missing something?

Hi,
Whenever I put media into one of my library's and then open up WMP 12, half the time the new media never shows up. For example I add a song to my music library, open WMP and it aint there. I try the 'apply media information changes' button and then restarting WMP but it doesn't update.

The only way I know to get it to update is to either remove my music from the library and then re-add it, or to delete all of the .wmdb files. Either way its a bit annoying.

i know its not a big problem but I was just wondering if anyone else has it or knows a way to get WMP to find newly added media.

looks like your library database corrupted. Try this
While in WMP12 press the "Alt" key, under the "Tools" > "Advanced" select "Restore Media Library..."
This will empty your library. Just exit WMP and launch it again to reload your library from scratch.
