Just thought I'd mention that some time ago I selected an option on Amazon (UK) for them to tell me when Windows 7 Pro was available to order. To be honest I totally forgot I did this as I've been reading SevenForums for some time for news on Windows 7. This morning I found that I received an email from them telling me that I can now Pre-order Windows 7 Pro for 'just' £179.97!! Well, isn't that good of them? How about telling me when it was available for around £90 instead??

I've actually already purchased two copies of Home Premium from Comet at £44.99 each, so I couldn't really care less. But it just goes to show how crafty these companies are doesn't it?

Actually there's some story with all the UK pre-orders crashing MS's system there or some such thing so they pulled the offer. Essentially the "while supplies last" happened pretty quick. It was normally supposed to still be continuing in the UK right now.

Yeah I know. But you would of thought that the email would have been sent to me on the morning of when the Offer started? No matter.

By the way, I've noticed (late last night anyway) that some were still selling at the low price and had some in stock. Namely, PCWorld, Ebuyer and another one I can't remember.
