which one is good from amd 16 core or intel i7 for maya rigging only.

Intel, X79 (2011 socket) Core i7 3930K

The i7 3960X is close to double the price for 100mhz increase and 15MB l3 cache vs the 3930K's 12MB.

Real world performance of the extra 3MB cache is very questionable.
