AMD Crossfire microstutter

I am considering crossfire at the moment, I own a Sapphire HD7770 Vapor X which is clocked from the fabric, and it gives me great results with my games and general HD playback.

However I recently started getting into Skyrim Moding, specifically ENB. While I can run it at 45fps max, it still goes down to 30 time to time, and it causes some skipping. Limiting the frame rates helps only so much.

So I was considering buying another 7770, same vaporx OC version as I cannot afford a 7950 at the moment, but microstutter is making me doubt about purchasing one.
Is there any way to reduce microstutter? I've seen plenty of people here posting their systems with crossfire, and the majority are running AMD crossfire which purposely has more microstutter compared to Nvidia.

What causes microstutter to be worse, and what could ease it up?

Micro stutter is a driver issue

went through it alot with 2 x7970's and adding another card won't fix it your best bet is to roll back to a previous driver or go with the beta they have out

If you already used the beta uninstall it use DriverSweeper |MG| Driver Fusion (Driver Sweeper) 1.4.0 Download get rid of all traces then re install the WHQL driver from AMD

Do you possibly know if some cards reflect it more? Based on the fact that some drivers function better with some cards than with others I mean.

Pretty much anything beyond 5 -Series should be all good it is 4series and below that are no longer supported

5 series will be on it's way out as well because it is 2 generations behind now

Only thing i can tell you is if you overclocked it try lowering the clocks sometimes it has the reverse effect if it is cranked to high and not really stable

It makes sense. The card was overclocked from factory, and I'm planning to get another one just like the first. I am just balancing between the yes, and no because of microstutter. The CPU should not affect this correct?
