When ever I try to overclock my cpu thing starts becoming hacky.

For example: When playing Counter Strike I run really fast and then stop for a while and so on.

Everything is just hacky.

It shouldnt be laggy/choppy in games unless something is bottlenecking or throtteling due to the overclock .It can be due to weak power supply also . Try reducing the clock speed . :sarc:

It's probably due to power supply being weak.

Thanks!
