AMD graphics driver has caused BSoD

I have Win 7 64 bit OS, HP P6-2203a computer with CPU/GPU combined A8-8550,8GB memory and a HD7450 graphics card,the GPU intergrated into the GPU is HD7560D.I started to get a message that my graphics driver needed to be updated so I downloaded the latest AMD catalyst driver from the AMD site with their auto download program.I installed it but the next time I booted the problems began with win 7 freezing at startup or a black screen I tried startup repair and restored to an earlier time but to no avail,I kept getting blue screens. Although it worked when in safemode but I cant seem to get into safemode again to try and fix it?

You should have downloaded the driver from the HP website. OEMs often "tinker" with the hardware in their PCs, or optimize their drivers for a particular PC. This means that you can't use the drivers from the AMD website (or you shouldn't) on an OEM computer. It can lead to problems.

Incidentally, I've never seen a message from my system telling me to update my graphics drivers, and I run an old version of AMD drivers. Were you getting popups or something?

Also, if you're getting freezing at startup, you're going to have to get into safe mode to do this... somehow.

Before it blue screened I ran Speccy and noticed that my memory was 8GB but it was only registering 4GB on "A"channel "B" channel was 0 GB? I removed the suspect memory stick and tried to get into BIOS with F10 & F8 but its just a blank black screen?

Download this tool to clear out any left over video drivers:
Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 15.5.0.0
Go ahead and un install the drivers then reinstall the video drivers from the manufacturers website.

If you still run into trouble try this.

Download and get the little Safe MSI installed in normal mode. This starts the Windows installer service in safe mode. Go ahead and un install the drivers in safe mode then reinstall the video drivers from the manufacturers website.

Also if you having memory issues that will cause BSOD. Make sure both sticks are firmly and properly plugged in. Download and run Memtest from a bootable disc or USB drive and run overnight to test the ram.
