AMD are throwing all their weight behind DirectX 11. Not only will they beat Nvidia to the punch with PC graphics cards that will support DirectX 11, their motherboard graphics cards will support DirectX 11 in early 2010 and integrated graphics cards by 2011, according to Rick Bergman, senior VP and Gm of AMD’s products group. Rick promised that ATI will provide more details of its Windows 7 graphics cards products on September 23rd.
