Solved AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M processor speed

I recently bought a Acer laptop that has a AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M processor that by default runs at 1.9GHz.

On the laptop it says "with TURBO CORE technology up to 2.80GHz.

Now my question is, how can I make it run at say, 2.5GHz instead of 1.9GHz?

The turbo will set in according to CPU requirements. If you only browse the web, no turbo is needed. But if you do some video encoding, it will kick in. There is no way to set it unless you overclock which is really not recommended for a laptop (not enough cooling).

You can run CPUID and do some tasks that would stress the CPU and see if the clock speeds change automatically:
