Hi,
Decided to connect my PC up to a spare 32" Beko TV i have. I first just took VGA from Current 19" monitor plugged it into the TV, i got a picture, look a bit fuzzy/blurred, went into the resolution settings and saw it still recognized it as my DELL SE197FP monitor and still says its at 1280 x 1024. so i restarted the computer while it was plugged into 32" TV and i could see all the motherboard start up screen with bios options and "Starting windows screen, then it goes black but still makes the windows sounds. I then plugged my 19" back in while the computer was still on and it said cannot display this resolution. so i restarted the computer with the 19" plugged in and it works fine, plugged back into the 32" to get the resolution and still recognized as the 19" and went back to resolution settings, and clicked "Detect" button, and it just got a black screen again. So restarted with 19" switched to 32" with original problem and that is where i'm currently at.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

When you are on desktop right click and hit screen resolution

change to the 32 inch monitor it should give you options to extend or use the 32 inch as default should look something like this

After you do this go into your ccc and go to the flatpanel tv part and scale to size thats it

I only have one screen plugged in at a time as the graphics card has only one VGA port. So when i switch the VGA cable form the 19 to the 32 while the PC is still on, it will still say it is the 19" in the resolution settings screen.

well you should try using a HDMI connection or DVI because it seems you need it to detect it through another type signal

OK, so i changed resolution to 1366x768, closest to the Native tv resolution and plugged the VGA back in and it now recognises the tv and lets me change resolution, so now i am in 1366x768 it all fits perfectly and looks good but it all a bit to big for my liking, e.g Icons a quit big and text on screen is big, is there anyway of making it smaller?
