AMD RAIDXpert splat on taskbar --trouble?

Yesterday, I used Lightscribe to label one disk. I had no trouble. Today, I'm getting a AMD RAIDXpert splat notification on my taskbar. It comes and goes. I'm thinking post hoc, propter hoc, that labeling is what caused it. Is this likely? Is it serious?


If this isn't the right place to post this --just tell me. I haven't a clue if it's a hardware or software issue, and that's not from lack of effort. Everybody who talks about AMD RAIDXpert seems to assume everybody already knows what it is. I don't.

Better question would be are you even running RAID? If not then you can safely uninstall RAIDXpert, and even if you are it isn't needed unless you want to reconfigure the array (not a good idea to try and do if the OS is installed on it) on the fly.
