amd usb audio filter driver and usb wireless internet

HI

I have installed amd usb audio filter sp46291 downloaded from the HP website
for win7 x32.

I seem to have problems with the usb wireless Internet.

The usb internet times out when pinging after few hours and the internet becomes unstable. Although my usb mouse and usb sound works fine.

I have to then reinstall the usb composite devices in the device manager to fix the internet problem.


Any solutions???

Re-install the drivers for your USB-based network adapter.

I'm trying to figure out what the actual purpose of the "driver?" is for. Do you or anyone else have any information on it? I haven't owned an HP in years.

The amd usb audio filter driver removes the disturbances produced by speaker jacks connected to the usb sound card. It is very useful.

It can be used on any system its not specifically designed for HP.

But are you using a USB-based sound card?

What I would try doing, personally, is removing that filter to test two things:

1. Am I actually having any problems with my audio that warrants this filter?
2. What is the state of my USB network adapter after removing this filter?

If I found that removing the filter fixed my network issues, then I either learn to live with any sound problems I may have (which unless your onboard jacks are broken or you need a line-in jack, I am unclear as to the need for the USB sound card) or I possibly try to find a new network adapter that works better with the filter. How can I do that though? I don't think they are really tested against such things.

I also have a laptop, and in my experience with my USB sound card (since I did not have a line-in jack), I never had a filter installed of any kind and things were peachy. That's just my experience.
