An invisible file that is appearant when moved

Ok so here's deal:

I've had this 3,3GB .iso file moved from a NTFS drive to a different NTFS external hard drive. The file became exactly 2,00GB when I moved it and now wont work, it's like corrupt.

If I move the 2GB .iso file back to its location, it still wont work. But if I move the whole folder that the iso was in, it looks as if 2 files are being moved, one is the visible 2GB and the other is 1,9GB. So there's a file in that folder which is 1,9GB I cant see.

The question is, how do I put it back together, even if it doesnt make 3GB when summed up: 2GB + 1,9GB

hit the start menu, search for "Show hidden files and folders" then click that option. that will bring you to the menu where you can make invisible items visible. Do that, then look at the folder again.
is there a file tat has the same name as the .iso, but with a ._ or something in front of it? does the original version work? How was it created ore where did it come from?

I was just downloading a torrent and I directed the download target location to my external hard drive than the default C:/Downloads path. The show hidden files trick didn't work. I managed to move the folder back to the Downloads folder but it did not help. I think the HDD must have slept when I walked away from the PC for a while.

Instead I'm just redownloading the file to the C drive as it's meant to be and already made it half way through. Still, thank you for your support. I've had my lesson that I should stick to my preset location.
