Hi, I have a problem with recurring BSOD: it does happens every time a program fails to work (for example for a missing .dll or some other error) or to install it will close and eventually give me an error window but with no other consequence, but every subsequent time I try to run it it will instantially goes BSOD.
Did I messed up some windows settings?
I hope you can help, thank you in advance.

Hi and welcome

I only did the most recent five crashes since they were identical and were caused by your
FFXivWinBenchm. That is part of your benchmarking software. Since it is the only process implicated I would remove it just to test and see if that fixes the problem.

Let us know if you need assistance

Thank you, but I think I've solved the problem: I have an old (eide) secondary hd that has some problems (and I've forgot to disconnect it after I'd managed to recover some data), after having disconnected it I can start programs such as that benchmarking program: it still won't run and give me an error (missing dll, I fixed it and now it works) but don't BSOD anymore.
I'll check with other programs that gave me the same problem but I'm confident that won't happen anymore.
