Annoying Gaming Problem

Just got my system up & running with win 7. Using steam & playing batman arkham asylum. Don't know if it is every game or just this one.

I'm playing the game then suddenly it drops back to the dektop with a program open waiting for input. I've had the search function waiting & wordweb.

It must be something with windows 7. How do I turn whatever it is off?

Keyboard & mouse is Logiteck mk700 wireless.

Think I figurered it out. The damn mouse has so many buttons on it I had to reconfigure it. Here's hoping anyway.

Turned out to be not only the mouse buttons but also my keyboard shortcuts. They were still being activated although I was gaming.

Just did a bit of reconfiguring & all is right with the world once again.......for now.
