Although Macrium is ending the freeware version development of it's Backup/Restore/Clone programme (which has been a great piece of freeware), neither it nor the Aomei freeware version has had an Increment backup option in their freeware versions for quite some time.

There is a freeware Backup/Restore/Clone programme offering an Increment backup option, rather than only Differential, called Hasleo. I've tested this in both Win 7 and Win 11 - with suitable Macrium belt and braces protection - and it works well. It has the "look and feel" of an Aomei fork, with a competent user interface. (Disclaimer: I do not have any financial interest in or connection with this programme).

The current Hasleo version is 3.2. I do not know how often this programme offers updated developments. As it stands, it does offer Increment options for Backup/Restore as well as Differential, so it may be a consideration for replacement of Macrium's freeware offer.
