Hi!

I get seemingly random BSOD. Of course All i get is good old ntoskrnl.exe is what crashed in "whocrashed". Which doesn't tell me much.

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x64 Ultimate
- What is the age of system (hardware)? March last year
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Ah 2 months? lulz

I have tried uninstalling Comodo. Updated Sata controller drivers. Updated Nvidia drivers. Thats all I could think of that might be causing problems...

theres the request info

Thanks for any help!

These were caused by your VSS (volsnap.sys) which is part of your win 7 OS. Since your system uptime is about the same I would think that maybe every time a backup (or restore point) kicked off it BSOD

System Uptime
Code:
System Uptime: 0 days 15:35:45.016
System Uptime: 0 days 10:38:16.176
System Uptime: 0 days 1:12:51.958
To remedy this I would first run a system file check by typing cmd in search. Then right click and run as administrator. Finally type SFC /SCANNOW (note the space between the sfc and the "/")

Let us know if you need any further assistance

Hello,

Just few additional information. Seems like the ataport.sys i.e. an IDE Storage driver which could indicate hardware issues with a storage medium. Also lots of crashes on WarRock.exe and bootwinok.exe one is game other I'm not sure.

Run Hardware Diagnostic: Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger

Even you mentioned Comodo is removed completely still there are traces. Make sure you run the Removal Tools. Follow this link BSOD vs. Internet Security !! « Captain Debugger

Change the DEP settings to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"
  • Open the Explorer (Windows key + E) and right-click on “Computer”. Select “Properties” from the context menu.
  • On the left click on “Advanced System settings”, click on the “Settings” button of the field “Performance”:
system-performance-data-execution-prevention.JPG

Go to the tab “Data Execution Prevention”:

data-execution-prevention-support-cpu.JPG

Make sure you select "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only".

Seems like few Device Programs has some issues.

Code:
VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.
USB camera USB\VID_0C45&PID_6011\5&1280EE4&0&3 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Install your USB Camera Drivers if you didn't find it then remove the Device. Also if your not using VirtualBox uninstall it.

Reboot the System in Selective Startup as well Run Selective Startup using System Configuration

Hope this helps,
Captain

Hi Thank you both for your help

cm11264.sys There is no new version (Some crappy usb headset :) )

DEP is already on for Windows Services and Programs

Next post:

Ya for some reason I thought it had to do with windows backup before, so I turned off scheduled backup. Not sure how to turn off restore point... Windows Backup can never complete a system image for some reason so I dont really need it. Is there a way to turn it off completely?

Sfc found no issues.. :(
