Solved Another IE11 Update failure - Error Code 9C48

As soon as I can give it a clean bill of health, you can bet my very next step will be to create a backup image on external media :D

Latest in this saga -

Got the laptop back today and went through the steps I had outlined above, with the following initial findings

- Windows Update History only shows 1 failed update - a Compatibility View update for IE8
- Otherwise, it shows 7 successful .NET updates and 194 successful Windows Updates, including security updates and an IE11 install (nope, no references to IE9 or IE10)
- SUR Tool and SFC results each show no errors found

I've uploaded all the logs and scan results except the CBS logs in the attached ZIP file.
I've uploaded the CBS logs to my Drop box site and added a link to that ZIP file below.

Noel, if you could take a look to see if I have any errors that I need to address, I would be thrilled for the feedback. As always, I appreciate your help :D

While I await feedback on my log files, I went ahead and created a Repair Disk and a base System Image Backup on an external drive. I figured I could use the practice :)

If the feedback on my logs indicates I have a problem, I will go through the process to fix them and then will create a new image and delete the first one.

Since I have made no changes to my machine other than setting a backup schedule and running a backup, I did not upload any new log files. If you need them please let me know and I will provide them ASAP.

Calling this one closed

The good news is that I have moved ahead with installing all offered Windows Updates and they appear to have installed with no failures thus far. I have also installed my MS Office applications and their Updates also all installed with no failures thus far.

However, I now have an error associated with my system back ups. So I will call this thread Solved, and will open a new thread to deal with that new error.

Noel, I wanted to thank you again for all your help - and for the superb training. I'll be able to keep using the tools and techniques you provided to keep my machines as healthy as possible.
:)
