any alternative to TOR browsers

Hi , I don't have much networking knowledge and I only use TOR browsers to visit some web sites anonymously. TOR browser is obviously very slow on loading everything although I am running on 100Mbps high-speed broadband in Hong Kong. I want to change my IP so much! Is there any alternative but faster solution to changing IP?

I tried changing IP using the method here about editing a bat file but it certainly didn't work!

There are also references to a 'new' version in search results, not sure what version you are running.
