Solved Any game crash

Hey, for about a year every game I play sooner or later crash/freeze and I dont know why, all my drivers are up to date and my computer stands for the system requsments.

This is my specs:

Windows: windows 7 ultimate 64bit

Processor: Intel core 2 quad q8200 2.33ghz

Ram: 4 Gb

Graphic card: Nvidia GeForce 9500GT

Im also trying to add a dump file but when I click upload it says:"error, file invailed" or somthing like that...

Your last BSOD was about a 4 months ago, have you had any more BSODs since?

Remove:

Start Menu\Programs\AVG

Please remove AVG completely with the AVG Removal Tool, and then install and run full scans with these free and proven alternatives, which work best with Windows 7 due to their compatibility and lightweight nature on system resources.

Install and perform full scans with:

• Microsoft Security Essentials | Protect against viruses, spyware, and other malware

Reduce the number of programs at startup, to avoid any driver or program conflicts:

Download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

• Double click to open it.
• Click this button only:

• If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

Daemon Tools uses a driver called sptd.sys, which is known to cause BSODs with Windows 7. It is recommend you remove this program.

Hey, thanks for replaying, I manged to delete AVG with the tool you gave me. Now Im downloading Malwarebytes and I will performe full scans.

And yes, I had a lot of BSODS since, I get BSODS almost any time i play any game and that freaks me out,
for exmple this week I wanted to play NBA 2K13, so when I start the game it comes up good I change the settings to normal and when Im starting the game after a few minutes I get black screen and cant do anything except restarting my computer, this is only one exmple.

I also cleand my computer startup like you recommended.

As for the deamon tools I use this program a lot but if you recommend to delete it I will but there is any chance you know another program that works with iso files and wont harm my computer?

ImgBurn or Windows own in built image burner, it depends what you want to do with the .ISO files, most people want to burn them to a DVD.

Im using it to install games, do you have any recomended softwore for that ?

And what about my BSODS ? i tought the problem can by DirectX releated, because my graphic card is pretty old and Im using DX 11 so maybe my graphic card dont suppurt DX 11 and thats what causes games to crush, is that make sense ? if not, can you tell what do causes the crashs ?

Some games I download comes in an ISO form and I need to mount them to open the Installer Wizard.

Yes, for exmple I have just downloaded NBA 2K14 and when im playing sometimes the color changes and the players become green so I need to minimize the game and maximize it and it comes back to the regular colors, and thats happens a lot, also after playing 30-60 miniutes, the game freeze, the picture dont move and the sound is very weird, the last word that was heard before the freeze, is reapeting in a weird metal voice, and this problem hapens to me in every game sooner or later.

I will serach, but I dont think thats the problem because its hapens to all my games(NBA 2K14, Saints row IV, Hitman absulution, Tomb rider, etc..) the only games that havent had that problem are Fifa 13, GTA IV and all the assians creed games.

Never mind about that, in the past most of the games that i downloaded via bittorent was iso but now its very rare and i havent used deamoon tools for months so...

A good piece of advice would be to stay away from P2P networks like uTorrent and BitTorrent, since most of the time, they simply just contain software bundled with malware. Why don't you just download games from Steam?

I downloaded the first program and opend it and followed the instructions on the tutorial, but I closed it because it makes my computer work really slow and i cant use it, so i will run the test tommrow when i go to school.


I didnt understand what is this program and what shes doing ? and I didnet understand if i should download both programs or just the first one.

Download both programs, Furmark will test your graphics card for any potential problems, and why don't you download games from Steam? I'm starting to wonder if those games may be cracked, and causing problems themselves.

First, those games are cracked, thougt you know that sorry, but i dont think they are the problem because my friends download the same games as me from the same site (skidrowcrack.com)(skidrowgames.net) and the games running pretty smooth for them.

And second, what is GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility and what this program doing? sorry for all those qusetions Im not so strong in this...

Sorry I dident know that, from now on I wont discuss about cracked games, I have an original copy of gta iv, so i will discuss on him because he also have the problem i mentioned a few times before: "the game freeze, the picture dont move and the sound is very weird, the last word that was heard before the freeze, is reapeting in a weird metal voice, and this problem hapens to me in every game sooner or later and the only way to solve it is to restart the computer."

And about furmark i run a burn in test for about 8 hours and i took screenshots in the end so i can upload them here but i cant seem to find those screenshots, and i also run a benchmark test here are the results :

SCORE:85 points (1 FPS, 60000 ms)

I would strongly recommend removing those cracked games entirely, and also removing your friends to do the same, I wonder how much malware could have potentially got into your system? Do you perform regular scans with a updated version of your security suite?

I checked both places you gave me for the screenshots and its not there.

I use MalwareBytes and preformed a full scan a few days ago like you recommended.

I found 3 crash dump files of sleeping dogs, I played it a few monthes ago, they can be helpful ? should I upload them ?
