Built a new computer with i5-760 and 4 Ram and Gigabyte board on 64 system, ran great,no problems running partners Dinner Dash(really pushing the Graphics).
Then next day got Boot mgr missing ,so re-installed O/S,found it was the Bios not correctly set causing the problem.But then found that Video was immediately crashing on start of 86 games but ok on running Wolfstein(only one Directx 9 tried).
Tried Basic settings in Catalyst Centre,rolled back one driver from 10.8 to 10.7,and lowered the resolution,still no joy.But they work great in Safe Mode,no sound though.
Any assistance gratefully appreciated(partner not getting nightly fix so not very happy)
