Fine, but then watch optional Windows Updates closely as there may be newer drivers preferred by Win7.
If there are performance issues or (again) any missing drivers, I'd go to the manufacturer's Support Downloads webpage for the model's latest drivers.
Any further performance problems then may require going directly to the Device manager's Downloads webpage.

I didn't install any VISTA drivers - all this is after the Win 7 updates were complete. Diana, when you say you installed Vista drivers - did you mean all of them? Did you let Windows 7 install any of its drivers?
Anything Odd happening since you switched to Win 7? Is the battery life shorter, fan issues? Well I have the fan issue anyway, about to replace it, but besides the point - any other issues that you are noticing?

As a reminder: THis is not XP, MS spent a fortune getting the drivers for WIN7 into the installer and then quickly updated via optional WINdows Updates. I would not swap out any drivers given by either unless performance issues point to that driver. Otherwise only import drivers missing in Device Manager.

There are no worries about installing the drivers which arrive via Optional Windows Updates. In fact all Updates are safe with Win7 with the rarest exceptions.
After the Vista debacle, MS spent a fortune subsidizing manufacturers to build drivers under the WHQL program so that they would have them first in the installer and quickly updated via optional Updates. To avoid them is to act based on old XP and early Vista standards which no longer apply.
We would hear about serious repeat driver problems via Updates here if they exist, and we don't. Use the drivers in the installer and via Optional Updates with confidence.
